Potential clients

I thought I would upload a few pictures of past jobs for you to review.

The end of siding?

I keep hearing these commercials for a product for the exterior of your house that goes on like paint but lasts forever. There seems to be a couple of companies who do this and I am sure the list of companies will grow real fast.
It was only a short time ago that I kept hearing the commercial for one company about this new product and then a couple of months later I heard another commercial for the same new product by another company. Just like when vinyl siding first came out, I bet your going to see a huge number of contractors jump on board for this new thing. The problem with that back then was the fact that most of the contractors were just in it to make a quick buck. They were the low ball bidder, they had little experience and they robbed allot of buildings and homes of their historical or any architectural details.
I think the same thing may happen with this new product. Not so much that it will detract from details (since it goes on like paint) but that there will be a ton of guys who will be in it to make a quick buck.
From what I understand it goes on like paint and hardens to a "vinyl like" substance. I guess that's why it costs so much.... Your paying for a paint job and a vinyl job.
I think the concept is a good idea but we will have to see how it does over time. It may just be the end of vinyl siding.

Tetreault Project finished

Though we may have some more work coming up for the Tetreault's, the porch is a done deal. Check out the before picture way down on an earlier post.
This time we used fir posts. Hopefully they will not twist!
Keep me in mind if you have any projects your thinking of. I'd be happy to give you an estimate.

Next Job.... A deck with Kyle or Siding for Mitch; which ever is ready for me first.

Continuation of Tetreault Project

Here's a quick up date to the project we are currently doing. The cieling was in pretty rough shape.

Instead of replacing it we decided to glue and screw strapping to the existing framing under the old cieling, then glue and screw up some 1/2 inch birch plywood.

Along all the edges and covering the seams I glued and nailed some 1x4 to give it a pictire frame look. The wife of the house hold said it looked beautiful. That makes my day! Take alook for your self.

Tetreault Project

We have had the oportunity to right some wrongs on this job!
After completing the roof, we were tasked to do something with the front porch.
The job was completed but 100% satisfaction was not reached. The lumber we used twisted and shrunk so bad that it was noticable when you looked from the street!
This is our current job so stay tunes for more details!
